Crescent City Harbour

 

If you enjoy wildlife, take a trip to Crescent City Harbour. Here you will find dozens of sealions lounging on the piers.

The Battery Point Lighthouse

 

The Battery Point Lighthouse was first lit way back in 1856. Today, it still serves as an active lighthouse, used to help with navigation. The Lighthouse, as well as its collection museum, are open to the public until 4pm (tides permitting)

Hike the Lost Coast Trail

 

The Lost Coast trail extends 24km along the California Coastline and takes several days to hike. If you do choose to hike the trail, keep in mind that it is a one way hike, so you will need to have a shuttle pick you up. 

Victorian Village

 

Explore one of California's most romantic villages - Ferndale. Labelled by Forbes Magazine as one of the prettiest towns in America, the Victorian Village will make you feel like you have travelled back in time.

Glass Beach

 

Most people that go to the beach go to laze on the sand,  but Fort Bragg attracts thousands of toursits each for a different reason - it's glass. Glass beach is covered in both discarded and sea glass. Many people refer to this glass as "mermaid tears" that have rolled into shore!
