Gros Morne National Park

 

Gros Morne National Park has been labelled as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers a diverse range of landscapes for exploration. Soaring mountains and fjords, beautiful beaches, forests, cliffs, bogs, and glaciers are just a few of the things to look forward to seeing in this National Park. Keep your eye open and you might even spot some local wildlife like caribou or moose!

The Viking Trail

 

The Viking trail is a highway that runs through Newfoundland and Labrador. This themed trail runs for over 400 km and features a variety of attractions along the way. From beautiful coastline hikes, to whale watching excursions and iceberg lookouts, this trail has it all!

L'Anse Aux Meadows National Historic Site

 

L'Anse Aux Meadows is an archeological site that takes you back over 1000 years to the time of the Vikings. Now designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the village offers tours of viking ruins and immerses visitors into the Viking culture. Play traditional Norse games, get your fortune told, learn to make pottery and throw and axe, and don't forget to visit the longhouse to discover what life was like in 1000 AD.
