Visit Glass Beach

 

Glass Beach is located in Benicia, California and is where, instead of sand, you will find an abundance of sea glass lining the shoreline.

Old Faithful Geyser

 

The Old Faithful Geyser can be found in Calistoga, CA, and is one of the most photographed places in all of California. It's natural beauty is enhanced by it's regular eruptions that make way for stunning rainbows to form. When visiting the geyser, you can also check out the goat farm, the gardens, the geology museum, or other attractions on the grounds.

Tour the Jelly Belly Factory

 

Ever wonder how everyone's favorite Jelly Bellies are made? If you're visiting the North Bay area you can find out! Tours at the Jelly Belly factory last approximately 40 minutes and are completely free!

 

 

Muir Woods

 

Set amongst thousands of redwoods, the Muir Woods draw visitors from around the world all year long. There is a small entrance fee for the park, but it is well worth it for anyone who loves nature.

Drive the Silverado Trail

 

If you have access to a vehicle, take a drive along the Silverado Trail. The trail runs parallel to Highway 29 and extends 29 miles along the edge of Napa Valley. It is a beautiful scenic route and has several different wineries along the route. 

Marine Mammal Center

The Marine Mammal Center is located in Sausalito and is dedicated to saving and protecting marine animals. In an attempt to educate about marine life protection, entrance to the center is completely free. With that said, tours are also available and are highly recommended

Checkout the Potter School House

 

Does the house on the right look familiar? Its the Potter School House from Alfred Hitchcock's famous movie "the Birds". The house is a unique landmark to check out, but be mindful and don't snoop in the windows - this is someone's actual home!
