ANDROS, BAHAMAS

    FREE AND FUN

Explore Blue Holes

Andros is full of Blue Holes. In fact, between the water and land, there are over 200 known Blue Holes on the island. To put it simply, blue holes are basically entrance ways to intricate underground cave systems. These systems are home to a variety of unique species that are rarely found elsewhere.

There are tour operators that will take you diving in the Blue Holes, but many choose to check them out on their own. If you do so, please keep in mind that blue holes are highly affected by the tide. Be sure to do your research on safe dive times before braving the holes on your own.
