Glimpses Theatre Troupe

 

The Glimpses Theatre Troupe is a production held at the fisheries museum in Lunenburg. It celebrates the history of the area through song and performance. Learn about Lunenburg from the time when the first settlers landed to present day. 

 

Entrance to the theater is through donation, making it affordable for all!

Peggy's Cove Village and Lighthouse

 

Nova Scotia is known for it's historic lighthouses. Peggy's Cove is one of the most well known and commonly photographed lighthouses of them all. The lighthouse was built in 1915 and is surrounded by picturesque views.

Incident Interpretive Center

 

The Incident Interpretive Center is homed in Shag Harbour and contains the history and chronicals of the UFOs that were claimed to have crashed into the waters of Shag Harbour. At the center you can read newspaper articles, watch television programs, and explore other exhibits related to the claimed incidents. 

 

While not completely free, admission is only a few dollars.

Ovens Natural Park 

 

The Ovens Natural Park is home to the famous "ovens" or sea caves. Activities within the park include trail walking, camping, gold panning, kayaking, and more.
