Dine at Al Capone's Beach House

Varadero has a 1920's beach house that has now been turned into a restaurant. Rumour has it that Al Capone once owned the house, though the restaurant states that he never actually lived there. But whether he lived there or not, the home is well worth visiting  and has beautiful grounds that are open for exploration, as well as a restaurant that offers a unique setting for dining.

Saturn Cave

Just West of Varadero is a large cenote filled with crystal clear waters. The cenote is a popular snorkelling venue where you can discover stalactites and stalagmites, and admire the fish below. There is an entrance fee, but it is a small price to pay for the beauty of the cave! You can visit the cave on your own, or hire a tour operator to take you.
