Visit John Pennekamp State Park
John Pennekamp was established in 1963 and was the first underwater park in the United States. There are plenty of free things that you can do at the beach including swimming, picnicing, and suntanning on the beach.
Other optional activities include snorkelling and scuba diving tours, glass bottom boat rides, boat rentals, and kayak and paddleboard rentals.
Note: Park charges a small fee per car or pedestrian.

Drive the 7 mile bridge
The 7 mile bridge is a scenic highway drive that crosses over 42 bridges. It is one of the most beautiful drives in Florida. If you don't have a car, walking and biking are also options.

Located at the Southernmost point, the West Martello Tower is a civil war Fort that began in 1863. When you visit you can explore the fort, or walk through the Fort Martello Gardens.

Fort Zachary Taylor State Park
A 54 acre park, Fort Zachary Taylor is a historical stop that allows for self guided tours. Alongside the Fort, the park also offers opportunities for beaching, swimming, biking, and nature trailing.
