Visit John Pennekamp State Park

 

John Pennekamp was established in 1963 and was the first underwater park in the United States. There are plenty of free things that you can do at the beach including swimming, picnicing, and suntanning on the beach.

 

Other optional activities include snorkelling and scuba diving tours, glass bottom boat rides, boat rentals, and kayak and paddleboard rentals.

Drive the 7 mile bridge

 

The 7 mile bridge is a scenic highway drive that crosses over 42 bridges. It is one of the most beautiful drives in Florida. If you don't have a car, walking and biking are also options.
