CENTRAL VALLEY, CA - FREE AND FUN

Downtown Sonora

Sonora is one of the oldest cities in California. The historical downtown was incorporated into California in 1851, and the buildings are a direct reflection of the city's age. Here you will find a variety of shops and restaurants, as well as a series of old buildings to explore.

Swim in God's Bathtub

Located in Sonora, California, God's bathtub is a local swimming hole that combines both deep and shallow waters that are crystal clear. The "bathtub" is a great place for swimming, but also offers thrill seekers a deep area for cliff jumping.

Death Valley

Death Valley is known for it's extremes. Not only does it have the lowest elevation in North America, but it is also the hottest and driest spot. Despite it's extremes, the Valley still sees millions of visitors every year. You can travel the valley on your own, or take a guided tour. Popular sites are the Natural arches, the Kilns, the Eureka dunes, and the badlands (as shown in photo).
